V\u00fdsledky v\u00fdzkumu ukazuj\u00ed, \u017ee i hladiny B12 v rozsahu d\u0159\u00edve pova\u017eovan\u00e9m za \u201enorm\u00e1ln\u00ed\u201c mohou u star\u0161\u00edch lid\u00ed v\u00e9st k po\u0161kozen\u00ed mozku a kognitivn\u00edm poruch\u00e1m.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Studie nazvan\u00e1 \u201e\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/onlinelibrary.wiley.com\/doi\/full\/10.1002\/ana.27200\">Vitamin B12 Levels Association with Functional and Structural Biomarkers of Central Nervous System Injury in Older Adults<\/a>\u00a0\u201c publikovan\u00e1 v renomovan\u00e9m \u010dasopise \u201eAnnals of Neurology\u201c zkoumala 231 zdrav\u00fdch \u00fa\u010dastn\u00edk\u016f s pr\u016fm\u011brn\u00fdm v\u011bkem 71 let. P\u0159esto\u017ee jejich pr\u016fm\u011brn\u00e9 hladiny B12 v krvi 414,8 pmol\/l byly v\u00fdrazn\u011b nad minim\u00e1ln\u00ed hladinou 148 pmol\/l ve Spojen\u00fdch st\u00e1tech, subjekty s ni\u017e\u0161\u00edmi \u2013 ale st\u00e1le pova\u017eovan\u00fdmi za norm\u00e1ln\u00ed \u2013 hladiny B12 vykazovaly znepokojiv\u00e9 p\u0159\u00edznaky:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>M\u011b\u0159iteln\u00e9 po\u0161kozen\u00ed b\u00edl\u00e9 mozkov\u00e9 hmoty<\/li>\n<li>Ni\u017e\u0161\u00ed rychlost kognitivn\u00edho zpracov\u00e1n\u00ed<\/li>\n<li>Zpo\u017ed\u011bn\u00e9 reakce na vizu\u00e1ln\u00ed podn\u011bty<\/li>\n<li>Obecn\u011b zpomalen\u00e9 veden\u00ed mozkem<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&#8222;Tyto ni\u017e\u0161\u00ed \u00farovn\u011b mohou zhor\u0161it kognici ve v\u011bt\u0161\u00ed m\u00ed\u0159e, ne\u017e se d\u0159\u00edve myslelo, a ovlivnit mnohem v\u011bt\u0161\u00ed \u010d\u00e1st populace, ne\u017e se domn\u00edv\u00e1me,&#8220;\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ucsf.edu\/news\/2025\/02\/429491\/healthy-vitamin-b12-levels-not-enough-ward-neuro-decline\">varuje<\/a>\u00a0Alexandra Beaudry-Richard, spoluautorka studie.<\/p>\n<p>Obzvl\u00e1\u0161t\u011b alarmuj\u00edc\u00ed je, \u017ee MRI skeny uk\u00e1zaly, \u017ee \u00fa\u010dastn\u00edci s ni\u017e\u0161\u00edmi hladinami B12 m\u011bli zv\u00fd\u0161en\u00fd po\u010det l\u00e9z\u00ed v b\u00edl\u00e9 hmot\u011b mozku \u2013 nervov\u00fdch vl\u00e1knech, kter\u00e1 umo\u017e\u0148uj\u00ed komunikaci mezi r\u016fzn\u00fdmi oblastmi mozku. Tato po\u0161kozen\u00ed jsou spojena s poklesem kognitivn\u00edch funkc\u00ed, demenc\u00ed a rizikem mrtvice.<\/p>\n<p>\u00da\u010dinky byly je\u0161t\u011b v\u00fdrazn\u011bj\u0161\u00ed u star\u0161\u00edch \u00fa\u010dastn\u00edk\u016f. \u201eP\u0159edchoz\u00ed studie definuj\u00edc\u00ed zdrav\u00e9 hladiny B12 mohly vynechat jemn\u00e9 funk\u010dn\u00ed projevy, kter\u00e9 mohou postihnout lidi bez zjevn\u00fdch p\u0159\u00edznak\u016f,\u201c vysv\u011btluje Dr. Ari J. Green, \u0159editel divize Neuroimunologie a gliobiologie na UCSF a hlavn\u00ed autor studie.<\/p>\n<p>Star\u0161\u00ed lid\u00e9 jsou zvl\u00e1\u0161t\u011b citliv\u00ed na n\u00edzk\u00e9 hladiny vitaminu B12, proto\u017ee jejich produkce \u017ealude\u010dn\u00ed kyseliny s v\u011bkem kles\u00e1.
