Kdy\u017e hormon p\u016fsob\u00ed na svou specifickou c\u00edlovou bu\u0148ku, m\u016f\u017ee zm\u011bnit jejich chov\u00e1n\u00ed a p\u0159im\u011bt je k proveden\u00ed specifick\u00e9ho \u00fakolu.<\/p>\n<p>Hormony uplat\u0148uj\u00ed sv\u016fj vliv ve velmi n\u00edzk\u00fdch koncentrac\u00edch; ka\u017ed\u00e1 molekula m\u00e1 velk\u00fd \u00fa\u010dinek. Tyto hormony interaguj\u00ed s jin\u00fdmi hormony, jako je inzul\u00edn, kortizol a pohlavn\u00ed hormony.<\/p>\n<p>V\u00e1\u0161 hypotalamus vylu\u010duje hormon uvol\u0148uj\u00edc\u00ed thyrotropin (TRH), kter\u00fd zp\u016fsobuje, \u017ee hypof\u00fdza uvol\u0148uje hormon stimuluj\u00edc\u00ed \u0161t\u00edtnou \u017el\u00e1zu (TSH), co\u017e zase zp\u016fsobuje, \u017ee \u0161t\u00edtn\u00e1 \u017el\u00e1za uvol\u0148uje T4.<\/p>\n<p>T\u00e9m\u011b\u0159 90 % hormonu \u0161t\u00edtn\u00e9 \u017el\u00e1zy se uvol\u0148uje v neaktivn\u00ed form\u011b T4. Va\u0161e j\u00e1tra pak p\u0159em\u011bn\u00ed T4 na T3 pomoc\u00ed enzymu.
