U dvan\u00e1cti \u00fa\u010dastn\u00edk\u016f rytmick\u00e9 st\u0159\u00edd\u00e1n\u00ed norm\u00e1ln\u00edho d\u00fdchac\u00edho vzduchu a p\u011btiprocentn\u00ed sm\u011bsi oxidu uhli\u010dit\u00e9ho zp\u016fsobilo, \u017ee mozkov\u00e9 c\u00e9vy fungovaly podobn\u011b jako b\u011bhem hlubok\u00e9ho sp\u00e1nku. N\u00e1sledn\u011b v\u011bdci zjistili zv\u00fd\u0161en\u00e9 hladiny protein\u016f souvisej\u00edc\u00edch s Alzheimerovou chorobou v krvi \u2013 co\u017e je mo\u017en\u00fd sign\u00e1l, \u017ee tyto proteiny jsou z mozku odstra\u0148ov\u00e1ny.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">N\u00e1\u0161 mozek neust\u00e1le produkuje metabolick\u00e9 odpadn\u00ed produkty, kter\u00e9 je t\u0159eba vylou\u010dit. Tento \u00fakol mimo jin\u00e9 \u0159e\u0161\u00ed tzv. glymfatick\u00fd syst\u00e9m \u2013 s\u00ed\u0165 tekutinou napln\u011bn\u00fdch kan\u00e1lk\u016f pod\u00e9l c\u00e9v. Tento p\u0159irozen\u00fd \u010distic\u00ed syst\u00e9m je obzvl\u00e1\u0161t\u011b aktivn\u00ed b\u011bhem hlubok\u00e9ho sp\u00e1nku. Pomal\u00e9 mozkov\u00e9 vlny zp\u016fsobuj\u00ed stahov\u00e1n\u00ed a roz\u0161i\u0159ov\u00e1n\u00ed c\u00e9v p\u0159ibli\u017en\u011b ka\u017ed\u00fdch 30 sekund, \u010d\u00edm\u017e se tekutina a odpadn\u00ed produkty od\u010derp\u00e1vaj\u00ed z mozkov\u00e9 tk\u00e1n\u011b.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.is\/8qlbE\"><span dir=\"auto\">Prezentovan\u00e9 v\u00fdsledky<\/span><\/a><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0poch\u00e1zej\u00ed od t\u00fdmu veden\u00e9ho neuropsycholo\u017ekou Sephirou Rymanovou z Texask\u00e9 univerzity v Austinu. Jejich \u010dl\u00e1nek s n\u00e1zvem \u201eIntermittent Carbon Dioxide Exposure and Glymphatic Clearance of Tau\u201c byl prezentov\u00e1n na mezin\u00e1rodn\u00ed konferenci Alzheimer&#8217;s Association International Conference 2026 v Lond\u00fdn\u011b. Dosud v\u0161ak nebyl publikov\u00e1n ve v\u011bdeck\u00e9m \u010dasopise, co\u017e znamen\u00e1, \u017ee nepro\u0161el nez\u00e1visl\u00fdm recenzn\u00edm \u0159\u00edzen\u00edm.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 id=\"h-die-gefasse-arbeiten-wie-eine-pumpe\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span dir=\"auto\">N\u00e1doby funguj\u00ed jako \u010derpadlo.<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">Rymanov\u00e1 a jej\u00ed kolegov\u00e9 vy\u0161et\u0159ili dvan\u00e1ct lid\u00ed. Osm \u00fa\u010dastn\u00edk\u016f nevykazovalo ani kognitivn\u00ed poruchu, ani abnorm\u00e1ln\u00ed hladiny tau proteinu. \u010cty\u0159i subjekty m\u011bly zv\u00fd\u0161en\u00e9 koncentrace formy tau proteinu v krvi, co\u017e m\u016f\u017ee nazna\u010dovat v\u00fdznamn\u011bj\u0161\u00ed usazeniny v mozku. T\u0159i z t\u011bchto \u010dty\u0159 osob ji\u017e trp\u011bli m\u00edrnou kognitivn\u00ed poruchou. B\u011bhem vy\u0161et\u0159en\u00ed mozku m\u011bli \u00fa\u010dastn\u00edci d\u00fdchac\u00ed masku. Tato maska \u200b\u200bst\u0159\u00eddala ka\u017ed\u00fdch 35 sekund oby\u010dejn\u00fd vzduch s p\u0159ibli\u017en\u011b 0,05 procenty oxidu uhli\u010dit\u00e9ho a sm\u011bs s p\u011bti procenty CO2. To je asi ston\u00e1sobek koncentrace b\u011b\u017en\u00e9ho okoln\u00edho vzduchu. Experiment trval celkem p\u016fl hodiny.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">Oxid uhli\u010dit\u00fd do\u010dasn\u011b roz\u0161i\u0159uje c\u00e9vy v mozku, proto\u017ee se t\u011blo sna\u017e\u00ed plyn rychleji odstranit a udr\u017eet z\u00e1soben\u00ed tk\u00e1n\u00ed kysl\u00edkem. Kdy\u017e se n\u00e1sledn\u011b sn\u00ed\u017e\u00ed z\u00e1soba CO2, c\u00e9vy se stahuj\u00ed. T\u00edmto pravideln\u00fdm st\u0159\u00edd\u00e1n\u00edm v\u011bdci vytvo\u0159ili pumpovac\u00ed pohyb podobn\u00fd tomu, jak\u00fd se vyskytuje b\u011bhem hlubok\u00e9ho sp\u00e1nku. Skenov\u00e1n\u00ed mozku \u00fadajn\u011b potvrdilo, \u017ee to tak\u00e9 stimuluje tok mozkom\u00ed\u0161n\u00edho moku.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 id=\"h-amyloid-und-tau-tauchen-im-blut-auf\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span dir=\"auto\">V krvi se objevuje amyloid a tau protein.<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">P\u0159ed experimentem a po n\u011bm t\u00fdm odebral \u00fa\u010dastn\u00edk\u016fm vzorky krve. Pouh\u00fdch 15 minut po l\u00e9\u010db\u011b se u v\u0161ech dvan\u00e1cti subjekt\u016f zv\u00fd\u0161ily hladiny ur\u010dit\u00e9 formy beta-amyloidu. Tento protein je p\u0159\u00edtomen i ve zdrav\u00fdch mozc\u00edch, ale u Alzheimerovy choroby se m\u016f\u017ee hromadit v charakteristick\u00fdch amyloidn\u00edch plac\u00edch. V\u011bdci interpretuj\u00ed zv\u00fd\u0161en\u00ed hladiny v krvi jako zn\u00e1mku toho, \u017ee protein byl transportov\u00e1n z mozku do krevn\u00edho ob\u011bhu. P\u0159\u00edm\u00fd pokles usazenin v mozku v\u0161ak nebyl nam\u011b\u0159en.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">Zd\u00e1lo se tak\u00e9, \u017ee tau protein se odstra\u0148uje snadn\u011bji, ale pouze u t\u011bch \u00fa\u010dastn\u00edk\u016f, kte\u0159\u00ed ji\u017e vykazovali zn\u00e1mky kognitivn\u00edho poklesu. Ryman m\u00e1 podez\u0159en\u00ed, \u017ee tito jedinci m\u011bli jednodu\u0161e v\u00edce tau proteinu, kter\u00fd pak mohl b\u00fdt z mozku odstran\u011bn. Asi po hodin\u011b se hladiny amyloidu a tau proteinu vr\u00e1tily k v\u00fdchoz\u00edm hodnot\u00e1m. Pozorovan\u00fd \u00fa\u010dinek byl proto pouze do\u010dasn\u00fd. Tento mal\u00fd experiment n\u00e1m v\u0161ak neumo\u017e\u0148uje doj\u00edt k z\u00e1v\u011bru, zda opakovan\u00e1 sezen\u00ed mohou skute\u010dn\u011b sn\u00ed\u017eit usazeniny v mozku, sn\u00ed\u017eit riziko Alzheimerovy choroby nebo zpomalit jej\u00ed progresi.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 id=\"h-parkinson-studie-stutzt-den-mechanismus\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span dir=\"auto\">Studie Parkinsonovy choroby tento mechanismus podporuje<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">Samotn\u00fd experiment\u00e1ln\u00ed p\u0159\u00edstup nen\u00ed zcela nov\u00fd. Dne 21. listopadu 2025 t\u00fdm publikoval studii s n\u00e1zvem \u201e\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nature.com\/articles\/s41531-025-01179-6\"><span dir=\"auto\">Vliv intermitentn\u00ed hyperkapnie na tok a clearance mozkom\u00ed\u0161n\u00edho moku u Parkinsonovy choroby a zdrav\u00fdch star\u0161\u00edch dosp\u011bl\u00fdch<\/span><\/a><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0\u201c v \u010dasopise \u201enpj Parkinson&#8217;s Disease\u201c. V t\u00e9to studii v\u011bdci zkoumali reakci mozkov\u00fdch c\u00e9v a tok tekutin u 30 pacient\u016f s Parkinsonovou chorobou a 33 zdrav\u00fdch kontroln\u00edch subjekt\u016f. Samotn\u00e1 anal\u00fdza biomarker\u016f v t\u00e9to studii v\u0161ak zahrnovala pouze deset lid\u00ed \u2013 p\u011bt pacient\u016f s Parkinsonovou chorobou a p\u011bt zdrav\u00fdch \u00fa\u010dastn\u00edk\u016f. Po t\u0159ech desetiminutov\u00fdch sezen\u00edch s CO2 se zv\u00fd\u0161ila hladina n\u011bkolika protein\u016f v krvi, v\u010detn\u011b alfa-synukleinu, beta-amyloidu a fosforylovan\u00e9ho tau proteinu.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">Alfa-synuklein hraje u Parkinsonovy choroby podobnou roli jako amyloid a tau protein u Alzheimerovy choroby: m\u016f\u017ee se \u0161patn\u011b skl\u00e1dat, shlukovat a nakonec po\u0161kozovat nervov\u00e9 bu\u0148ky. V\u00fdsledky nov\u011b prezentovan\u00e9 studie o Alzheimerov\u011b chorob\u011b se tak shoduj\u00ed s publikovan\u00fdm v\u00fdzkumem Parkinsonovy choroby. Oba poskytuj\u00ed d\u016fkazy o tom, \u017ee rytmick\u00e9 zm\u011bny hladiny oxidu uhli\u010dit\u00e9ho mohou ovlivnit krevn\u00ed c\u00e9vy a tok tekutin v mozku. Zda v\u0161ak skute\u010dn\u011b odstra\u0148uj\u00ed nebezpe\u010dn\u00e9 proteinov\u00e9 usazeniny v klinicky relevantn\u00edm mno\u017estv\u00ed, z\u016fst\u00e1v\u00e1 nejasn\u00e9.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 id=\"h-ein-ansatz-fur-mehrere-erkrankungen\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span dir=\"auto\">Jeden p\u0159\u00edstup pro v\u00edce nemoc\u00ed?<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">\u017d\u00e1dn\u00fd z dvan\u00e1cti \u00fa\u010dastn\u00edk\u016f nehl\u00e1sil \u017e\u00e1dn\u00e9 vedlej\u0161\u00ed \u00fa\u010dinky. S tak malou skupinou v\u0161ak nelze vyvodit \u017e\u00e1dn\u00e9 dlouhodob\u00e9 z\u00e1v\u011bry o bezpe\u010dnosti. Experiment\u00e1ln\u00ed uspo\u0159\u00e1d\u00e1n\u00ed tak\u00e9 nem\u011blo nic spole\u010dn\u00e9ho se samoinhalac\u00ed oxidu uhli\u010dit\u00e9ho: koncentrace, trv\u00e1n\u00ed, intervaly p\u0159ep\u00edn\u00e1n\u00ed a hladiny vydechovan\u00e9ho CO2 byly kontrolov\u00e1ny pod l\u00e9ka\u0159sk\u00fdm dohledem. Zapojen\u00ed v\u011bdci ji\u017e zva\u017euj\u00ed p\u0159enosn\u00e9 za\u0159\u00edzen\u00ed pro dal\u0161\u00ed studie. Ministerstvo pro z\u00e1le\u017eitosti veter\u00e1n\u016f USA tak\u00e9 pracuje s t\u00fdmem na prototypu, kter\u00fd bude automaticky \u0159\u00eddit rytmick\u00e9 p\u0159ep\u00edn\u00e1n\u00ed d\u00fdchac\u00edch plyn\u016f. Nejprve se v\u0161ak pl\u00e1nuj\u00ed rozs\u00e1hlej\u0161\u00ed studie s opakovan\u00fdmi aplikacemi. Ty by musely zkoumat nejen krevn\u00ed hodnoty, ale tak\u00e9 zm\u011bny v mozku, kognitivn\u00ed v\u00fdkon a progresi onemocn\u011bn\u00ed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">Tento p\u0159\u00edstup by mohl sahat daleko za hranice Alzheimerovy choroby. Glymfatick\u00fd syst\u00e9m transportuje nejen amyloid a tau protein, ale tak\u00e9 alfa-synuklein, z\u00e1n\u011btliv\u00e9 molekuly a dal\u0161\u00ed metabolick\u00e9 produkty. Pokud by se um\u011ble generovan\u00fd pumpovac\u00ed \u00fa\u010dinek uk\u00e1zal jako \u00fa\u010dinn\u00fd, nezam\u011b\u0159il by se pouze na jeden protein, ale sp\u00ed\u0161e by pos\u00edlil p\u0159irozen\u00fd \u010distic\u00ed mechanismus mozku.
