P\u0159i rozhovorech s lidmi, kte\u0159\u00ed se d\u011bs\u00ed ztr\u00e1ty pam\u011bti, jim l\u00e9ka\u0159i jen z\u0159\u00eddka \u0159eknou o vitam\u00ednu E. Zatajov\u00e1n\u00ed t\u011bchto poznatk\u016f je skand\u00e1l, kter\u00fd je t\u0159eba odhalit.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span dir=\"auto\">Dv\u011b desetilet\u00ed d\u016fkaz\u016f o tom, \u017ee vitamin E funguje<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">Prvn\u00ed rozs\u00e1hl\u00e1 studie, publikovan\u00e1 v odborn\u00e9m \u010dasopise\u00a0<\/span><em><span dir=\"auto\">New England Journal of Medicine<\/span><\/em><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0v roce 1997, pod\u00e1vala pacient\u016fm se st\u0159edn\u011b t\u011b\u017ekou Alzheimerovou chorobou 2 000 IU (IU = mezin\u00e1rodn\u00edch jednotek) vitam\u00ednu E ve form\u011b alfa-tokoferolu. Pom\u011br mezi mg a IU p\u0159i p\u0159\u00edrodn\u00edm vitam\u00ednu E (d-alfa-tokoferol) je zhruba 1 mg = 1,5 IU.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">V\u00fdsledky byly pozoruhodn\u00e9: ti, kte\u0159\u00ed u\u017e\u00edvali vitamin E, odd\u00e1lili ztr\u00e1tu schopnosti vykon\u00e1vat denn\u00ed \u010dinnosti, jako jsou obl\u00e9k\u00e1n\u00ed, koup\u00e1n\u00ed \u010di jeden\u00ed, v pr\u016fm\u011bru o 7,5 m\u011bs\u00edce. To nen\u00ed jen \u010d\u00edslo; p\u0159edstavuje to skute\u010dnou kvalitu \u017eivota zachovanou pro pacienty i jejich pe\u010dovatele.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">Studie tak\u00e9 uk\u00e1zala, \u017ee vitam\u00edn E byl bezpe\u010dn\u00fd bez zv\u00fd\u0161en\u00ed ne\u017e\u00e1douc\u00edch \u00fa\u010dink\u016f ve srovn\u00e1n\u00ed s placebem. Pro\u010d? Proto\u017ee vitam\u00edny nelze patentovat a velk\u00e9 farmaceutick\u00e9 spole\u010dnosti nemaj\u00ed motivaci propagovat levnou \u017eivinu, kter\u00e1 podkop\u00e1v\u00e1 jejich miliardov\u00e9 zisky z prodeje l\u00e9k\u016f.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">Studie ukazuj\u00ed, \u017ee vysok\u00e9 d\u00e1vky vitam\u00ednu E prokazateln\u011b sni\u017euj\u00ed oxidaci \u0161patn\u00e9ho LDL cholesterolu p\u0159i \u00farovn\u00edch nad 1 200 IU denn\u011b, co\u017e dokazuje jeho \u0161irok\u00fd kardiovaskul\u00e1rn\u00ed a neuroprotektivn\u00ed potenci\u00e1l. Jeliko\u017e v\u0161ak vitamin E \u201enevyl\u00e9\u010dil\u201c Alzheimerovu chorobu, byl zam\u00edtnut jako nedostate\u010dn\u00fd.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">Pokud by farmaceutick\u00e1 spole\u010dnost vyrobila l\u00e9k, kter\u00fd by odd\u00e1lil pokles mozkov\u00fdch funkc\u00ed o 19% bez vedlej\u0161\u00edch \u00fa\u010dink\u016f, slavilo by se to jako pr\u016flom.
